Bug Description
In 11.10 I could run my monitor in standing mode under KDE, with the resolution 1050x1680.
For some reason, when I log in (both in 11.10 and 12.04), the resolution is always slightly off, so I have to go to the Desktop setup and fix it.
When I change resolution in 12.04, the desktop suddenly believes that my desktop is wider than it actually is, and I see only the left half of maximized windows. this was not the case before.
xrandr reports that I now have a Screen that is 1680x1680. This makes my virtual screen larger than my actual screen.
After the screen gets too large, I can fix the problem by running xrandr manually.

Hi there!
Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https:/ /bugs.kde. org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.
Thanks!
