Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
Dear Sir,
Thanks for a great operating system.
When i change resolution from default (1152x864) to 1024x768 my screen goes blank.
I have a 19" TFT screen and monitor light is still Green.
But screen area becomes totally black and i have no option apart from restarting the system.
(I tested pressing ALT+A or ALT+R on blank screen but it doesnt work.)
Also when i restart computer, resolution is not changed i.e. its still 1152x864.
Please make it correct.

i face the same bug and when after restart i goto the display properties again it changes to 800*600 automatically and only bottom 1/4th of the screen remains visible and also the display manager doesnt not show the reset button as clickable.
