Bug Description

Since upgrading my Samsung 540U4E-K01AU to Kubuntu 14.04 the battery charger keeps connecting and disconnecting as i change from application to application or another tab. It doesn't drop out if im not interacting with the laptop. I have tested the charger with a multi meter and the charger is physically working correctly. I didnt have this issue with Kubuntu 12.04, 13.04 or 13.10. If i boot from my tails live cd it seems to work fine.
