System Settings sometimes crash in Kubuntu 7.10

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-systemsettings

System Setting and Kcontrol sometimes crash on exit.
I have a backtrace from KDE Crash Handler.
I will try specify step by step how obtaining the crash next time.

Same output to me too. The difference is that it ALWAYS crashes. Some people on the Kubuntu Italian Forum told me to upgrade my KDE version from 3.5.6 to 3.5.7, but I prefer waiting for Gutsy instead. I'm obviously using Feisty. kcontrol works fine (but the Monitor & Display module doesn't load, it runs only if I give a "kcmshell displayconfig" from shell, I don't know if it's related or not, though).

Same here. Just updated to 7.10 and System Settings crashes always, even after removing ~/.kde/
