[Edgy beta] KDE screen power saving settings aren't reloaded after reboot

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-guidance

- Kubuntu Edgy daily upgraded
- Laptop Asus M6Ne
- KDE 3.5.5

If I set in the Control Center (Peripherals>Monitor & Display>Power Saving) my screen to be turned off after some inactivity period, at the appointed time my screen will be switched off, but after a reboot the default setting is loaded (5 hours).

I disabled screensavers.
