Bug Description

Binary package hint: mythtv

After setting VNC to enable or reconfigure and setting a password (I haven't tried disabled) -- when you click apply the system hangs on the progress bar.

The following information is provided if mcc is started from a terminal window:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/MythbuntuControlCentre/core.py", line 1344, in apply_pressed
    call_applicator(self,to_install,to_remove,to_reconfigure)

    have_modules = len(self.xorg_conf.getSections("module")) > 0
AttributeError: 'tuple' object has no attribute 'getSections'

Killing the mcc is the only way to close the window -- and the vnc changes are not in effect.

When you kill the mcc, the following information is presented in the terminal:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/mythbuntu-control-centre/bin/mythbuntu-control-centre", line 47, in <module>
    script.run()

    gtk.main()
KeyboardInterrupt

Attempting to connect to the MythTV Machine via VNC causes X to crash... or rather lose the display signal?

X doesn't reboot like it normally would when failed... the TV goes to "no signal" and pressing CTRL+ALT+BKSP restarts X.

Otherwise the display will continue to show that it has no signal being sent to it...

I know this comment is kind of unrelated and seems like more of a VNC issue, but maybe it will help.
