dolphin ignores back and forward buttons on mouse

When I'm browsing a folder in dolphin and I want to go to the previous folder in the history I click the "back" button on my mouse, but nothing happens. I don't have this problem with thunar, nautilus or firefox.

I cannot reproduce this problem, the back and forward buttons of Dolphin are working properly. I am using Oneiric/KDE 4.7.4

You are right, I thought the issue was about the back and forward buttons on Dolphin.

I indeed can confirm that the back and forward buttons of my mouse (I never use them so I did not think of those) are not working (and that they are working in other applications)
