Bug Description
Bug in Gutsy Gibbon (kubuntu 7.10) not in Feisty.
Unable to log in admin mode using kcontrol or systemsettings. When I click onto admin mode, then the window for the password prompt (kcmshell) is shown. I enter the admin password, then the borders of the window become red and next the red borders dissapear and all I have got is returning to the normal user mode window of systemsettings or kcontrol. Using console:

$ systemsettings
adding Administrador de usuarios /usr/share/
Pythonize constructor -- pid = 9256

This is why I think this is a bug related to python-kde (python-kde3 or pykdeextensions). My apologies if I'm wrong.
Bug solved in kubuntu hardy heron. I have installed this version of kubuntu and this bug no longer happens.
