Bug Description
reported this issue to bugs.kde.org. they set it as a downstream issue specific to kubuntu.

When clicking kmenu>system settings>input devices>touchpad it immediately crashes. Reproducible every time.

hmmm touchpad. says kde-config-touchpad is installed but won't start from terminal....
searched for kcm-touchpad, it says transitional for kde-config-
any suggestions?
