Check what happens with "apt-get install libgtk2-ruby libgtk2-ruby1.8"; there is probably a missing binary, a conflict or something.

NB: hardy might be more interesting to look at

Hi,

The version 0.5.0 had this problem. I packaged the new version (0.5.2) and this issue must be fixed.

Can you update your system, and try again with the install?

Also I found out about libgtk2-ruby: "This is a dummy package depending on the library for the current default version of Ruby"

Thanks!
