Bug Description
Every so often kwrite pauses for a few seconds. This may well be due to slow NFS. However the problem is what sometimes happens next. Occasionally any further text typed into the window is entered as what seems to be random text at random points on the current line. It does seem that you get one character entered for one character typed, but other than that there is little resemblance between what is typed and what appears in the window. The only way to resume correct behaviour is to close the file and reopen it.
