Bug Description

Editor: Kate
Syntax highlighter: Python

If, in the Kate text editor, the first non-whitespace character inside a line of Python code is either " or ' , then the rest of the line is incorrectly highlighted like a comment. The correct behaviour would be to highlight it like a string.

The bug appeared in Ubuntu Raring and was not yet present in Ubuntu Quantal.

An image that shows the behaviour is attached to this bug report.
