Bug Description

Binary package hint: kaffeine

Since updating to karmic and kaffeine-1.0~pre2-0ubuntu1, it is no longer possible to apply a deinterlacing filter for the video stream, the Playback -> Video menu which existed in 0.8.7 (from jaunty) is simply not there anymore. Furthermore, I am disappointed about the philosophy to remove features just because porting to the Qt4 and KDE4 release and I can not understand how such an unmature software could make it into the karmic release.
