Bug Description

As some of you know, HD TV audio support has been broken since after Ubuntu 12.04 in Kaffeine and till Ubuntu Xenial 16.04 which worked pretty fine since December 2015.
After, It was still working but with a major degradation and slow down in the video display.

After January 2016, there was a large update of Kaffeine and more importantly of ffmpeg which totally broke the HD video display (green screen) but HD TV audio is still working fine.

No problem with SD video and audio.

Not sure, but I think this bug is related to ffmpeg updates.

I didn't upgrade my Ubuntu 12.04 system due to this specific issues/bugs with Kaffeine which I use all the time and I was about to move to Ubuntu 16.04 but I can't due to this news bugs...

Anyone knows how to fix it ?

Is there a way to force downgrade Kaffeine and all it dependencies to a previous state or date : say by october or november 2015 for example ?

Some additional informations :

Today, I saw a bunch of ffmpeg updates passing by and I did apply them but no changes happens to Kaffeine HD DVB-T TV display : still no video and sound is still ok.

I also tested Kubuntu 15.04 in a VM machine and this version is NOT affected by the bug.

After an upgrade to Kubuntu 15.10 in the same machine, Kubuntu is also NOT affected by the bug.

Not sure if a Kubuntu 16.04 experimental version does exist but if it does, I will test it.

At present time, looks like this is specific to Ubuntu Unity or Gnome...
