ubuntu kaffeine stops working when Using Browser

I open ubuntu kaffeine and it runs great with my KWorld USB TV stick but when I open and/or are using Chrome, Chromium or Firefox browsers, Kaffiene intermittantly stops working and an error message window eventually pops open which says "Read Error from: " but no other text. Tehn I double click on the station I was watching (or listening too) and it starts up easy enough and works as usual. Kaffiene seems to stop working more often than not, when I open a second tab in the browser and go to a website I already stored a link too. Might just be coincidence but thought I'd mention it.

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and whatever Kaffeine version currently accessible via the Unbuntu Software Center as of August 14 2012

ok, I can make it stop working. Here's what I do ...

I run Kaffiene, then go to TV mode and select a channel. Runs great, through a one hour show, then I opened Google Chrome and clicked on a saved bookmark in the toolbar (UPS website). It opens on the site, shows a tracking number I already had saved there and when I click on the tracking number Kaffiene stops running. Does this every time and with chromium too, but no stops were seen using Firefox.
