Bug Description

Binary package hint: kabikaboo

I shut down my computer improperly, without closing kabikaboo. Now the program will not re-open.
I tried running in terminal, using menu buttons, and using auto-open feature on a kabikaboo file.

Improper shutdown detected...

Hello, Susan;

Go into the ~/.kabikaboo folder and open settings.txt. In it, try changing AutoOpen = True to AutoOpen = False
If that doesn't work, temporarily rename the ~/.kabikaboo directory to something else to see if it will open.

Changed in kabikaboo (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed

This can also happen if you moved your last kabikaboo document to somewhere else on your computer. The solution is to add the new (correct) path to settings.txt. Then Kabikaboo will open.
