Bug Description

Binary package hint: k3b

Cant report bug from k3b as the bug report crashes too with.

Unable to save bookmarks in /home/philinux/.kde/share/apps/kfileplaces/bookmarks.xml. Reported error was: Insufficient permissions in target directory.. This error message will only be shown once. The cause of the error needs to be fixed as quickly as possible, which is most likely a full hard drive.

Hard drive has 170gig free.

Yeah sure.

ls -l /home/philinux/.kde/share/apps/kfileplaces/bookmarks.xml
ls: cannot access /home/philinux/.kde/share/apps/kfileplaces/bookmarks.xml: No such file or directory

In the directory share is only a folder called config, no apps directory.

Ok I've solved this. the ~/.k3b folder got created with root permissions by the installer. I assume this is the bug. I used apt url to install it.

The ~/.k3b is not created by the installer, but by K3b on the first run.
