Bug Description

Using joe 3.1-0.2, if I create a new file with the extension .html at the end, then begin typing HTML, after I've typed "<h" (no quotes), joe segfaults.

Steps to reproduce:

1) From bash, run "joe foo.html"
2) In joe type "<h"
3) Segfault occurs

Is this reproducible, if so, could you attach a crash dump?
Did this happen on dapper or edgy and does this still happen on edgy.
On my edgy this didn't happen.

I've moved on to edgy, but a friend still has dapper on another machine. He was able to reproduce the bug. When I had him run it in gdb and "thread apply all bt" after the crash, there were no symbols.

He rebuild the package with debugging symbols but then was unable to reproduce the bug. :-)

I too am unable to reproduce this in edgy.

Ok, thanks. If this is fixed on edgy I mark this as "fix released"

This is broken in dapper and needs to be fixed there too ... (LTS)
