Bug Description
The jockey-gtk has green buttons listing the proprietary nvidia drivers that are present in the system . The documentation Help says you should be able to click on Activate to activate the proprietary drivers .
However the green buttons ( probably radial boxes) do not change in any manner on clicking and neither is there an activate button . This is confusing.
I did install the nvidia driver via the Software center and now jockey did say that the 185 series driver was in use and activated. But the green buttons stayed the same.
This seems to be a bug in jockey-gtk

The latest update to jockey in Lucid fixed this problem for me.
