[Lucid} Jockey removed hardware driver during upgrade

Bug Description

Installed Ubuntu 8.04, installed all updates available. I then installed the Nvidia hardware driver usnig System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers. I then upgraded to Ubuntu Lucid. After the upgrade completed, the Nvidia hardware driver had been replaced by nouveau driver.

I got the same thing upgrading hardy to lucid Xubuntu. It also removes the hardware driver and installs nouveau instead.

This report is being closed because it has been fixed in the final version release of Ubuntu 10.04. It now correctly updates the video driver to nvidia-current.
