Persistent USB UNR 9.10, added WLAN password and the home-screen froze. Worked fine after reboot

Bug Description

UNR 9.10, Acer Aspire One A110L
expected screen to work as normal, got screen that failed to clear old content. Clicking on the ubuntu icon didn't bring back the home-screen, but system shutdown from menu bar stlll possible
