HP dv2140eu here with broadcom. Installed Karmic 64-bit Kubuntu there.
On live, I was able to install the drivers (b43, I think, I have no idea what's STA). I did it with no network connection, I think.
But now on installed system, with wired network I have the problems described above. I've upgraded the system to the latest packages but jockey usually disables the driver list wihtout actually installing anything.
-> this still seems to be an issue.
