jockey-gtk doesn't do anything (jaunty)

I tried to install the nvidia drivers (180) using jockey-gtk. When clicking 'activate' a loading bar quickly flashes up and then vanishes again, not doing anything.

If I alternatively choose 173 drivers the bar stays longer but only displays 0%.

For some reason my 'uname' was broken, after reinstalling it and restarting the computer, the nVidia drivers installed without problems
