Bug Description

I am using Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex.
After selecting System > Administration > Hardware Drivers I got that proprietary driver window.
When I clicked on that icon again, the window duplicated it self within the window.

Hello Tzury, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better! This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in jockey.

FYI I can't seem to duplicate this issue. Where exactly are you clicking to make this happen?

I also can't duplicate this issue. What version of Ubuntu are you running?

Sorry, the last part of my comment was meant to be deleted. You already gave
your Ubuntu version.

I simply click on the green icon that appears next to the clock when
proprietary drivers are in use.

I can confirm this on Intrepid Ibex.

Have just updated graphics drivers and restarted. Clicking on the notification area icon (tooltip: New restricted drivers in use) opens the Hardware Drivers window, clicking the icon for a second time duplicates the window contents inside the same window as described above.

This does not happen when running the app from System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers, doing this twice opens two separate instances of the app - the expected behaviour.

I can confirm this as well (Intrepid, 8.10)
I recently updated to NVIDIA 180, and clicked the "New restricted drivers in use"- tried clicking it again and then again.

A screenshot of the results are attached
