zero documentation for any Jockey packages

I don't even know how this package (which I can't get to work) is SUPPOSED to work.
There's a HELP button that does nothing, 3 check boxes that change nothing and go back to being unchecked once I click the Close button which does nothing but close the program.
A man page would be nice. Should I read the source or something? I can't code python, but I guess I could guess and use comments...

Those are several bug reports in one. I'll keep this one for "missing manpages", which is indeed still on my TODO list.

Usually the program should be self-explanatory. If your hardware needs a third-party driver, you'll get a notification which leads you to the driver manager UI. The help button works for me (current Ubuntu Hardy, what are you using?). What drivers are offered to you? Maybe you can send a screenshot?

  jockey-gtk --list --debug 2>&1 | tee /tmp/debug.txt

and attach debug.txt here. Thank you!

Yeah, the help button does nothing, the UI has no effect, and the command line (which I had to download the source, read the readme, then use --help to get anything on) broke mplayer for video and installed something that does nothing for my wireless.

The downloading the source and finding the readme is the part related to this.

It's sad to know that we still haven't manpages or docs about jockey. I've been trying to find it's cache to build an offline installation DVD, with no success at all. A man or info page would be great.

While it doesn't come, is there ANY documentation about it? More specifically, I need to know where are the cache files, so it could do an offline installation of some drivers, wich packages are already in apt archive cache.

Jockey has been superseded by software-properties, which now handles
third-party driver configuration.
