Setting to High, tagging rls-q-incoming, milestoning: got hit by this on the Quantal desktop ISO 20121005:

Steps:
1. boot from ISO
2. select to run Ubuntu
3. after a while, apport kicks in with this error. Selecting System Settings/Additional driver will, of course, produce the same error.

This is a bad user experience: the user is trying Ubuntu, and gets hit by this error.

Changed in jockey (Ubuntu):
milestone: none → ubuntu-12.10

I am pretty sure that this jockey-gtk bug is a false alarm, But there are already fewer of those than on 12.04. Rock on, gentlmen. But take a look anyway?

Changed in jockey (Ubuntu):
milestone: ubuntu-12.10 → quantal-updates

Hum, what iso did you boot? jockey got deprecated in favor of software-properties in quantal and should not be on the CD...
