@online Biblographic entry type not recognized

jabref corrupts my bib file on load by changing all @online (a now-old standard entry type) to @other

In the next release of Ubuntu, at least JabRef 3.6 will be part of the release (see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jabref).
