wireless network connetion no longer working after noble upgrade

Bug Description
Wireless network was working fine with matic, but system can no longer connect to wlan after noble upgrade.
NetworkManager logs contains this:

However, that warning is not new and was present before the upgrade.

Update:
Building and installing iwd-2.12 from debian/sid fixed the problem for me (some Ubuntu fixes need to be applied to the debian package).
It seems that this could be a compatibility problem with the newer kernel and the older iwd.
