Same problem here. MacBook Pro 5.3, Ubuntu 10.4.
What the ***? The camera worked out ouf the box with 9.10 - no need for isight firmware tools. Please fix it!!!

I have the same issue. I successfully extracted and built the firmware from the Mac install, and when I restarted, there was no isight error, but when I ran cheese or any other camera program, it didnt say nothing installed, it just did nothing.... then I uninstalled and tried again and now I get this...

I am on a macbook 5.1

Thanks
