Bug is already known since years. Isight-firmware is mac-build firmware on macbooks.

I then did:
$ sudo apt remove isight-firmware-tools && sudo apt purge isight-firmware-tools

And reinstalled:
sudo apt install isight-firmware-tools

And when prompted instead of selecting the zip file I selected the Java File: "AppleUSBVideoSupport" as mentioned here: https://www.linux.org/threads/installing-linux-on-an-imac.26009/

The installation was succesful but the camera does not work after reboot.
