Bug Description

Binary package hint: iriverter

Since upgrading to karmic I am no longer able to rip DVD's using iriverter 0.16-0ubuntu3. I tried purging the app and reinstalling it but I'm still getting an error. The error occurs when the Gathering Information About DVD window pops up with Reading title 1 of 12 in the status area. This is the output from the terminal when I run iriverter and select Jobs > New > DVD or click on the new DVD button:

$ iriverter

System Specs:
Ubuntu version: 9.10
App version: 0.16-0ubuntu3

EXPECTED:
1. Run iriverter
2. Insert a DVD into the DVD drive
3. Select to rip from a DVD
4. Once the dvd information is read from the drive select the desired drive, title, audio stream and subtitles as desired

ACTUAL:
1. Run iriverter
2. Insert a DVD into the DVD drive
3. Select to rip from a DVD
4. iriverter never gets past reading the first title information from the drive. If you're not running iriverter from the CLI you have absolutely why the program is hung up.
