Bug Description

Binary package hint: irda-utils

Irda-utils, the aplication that is supossed to interchange data between the pc and other devices (like cellphone) doesn't work properly.

It is all the time like in status -not working- (grey icon next to the clock) and it never accepts incoming IrDA connections from my Samsung SGH - X656 cellphone.

After installation with "add programs" or synaptic install of packages, always recevie the message "IrDA-utils - error - se deja sin configurar" (it is left without configure)

I am using Ubuntu 9.04 i386 (32 bits), Gnome desktop, spanish language, on a PC with AMD Athlon 64 2800+ processor, motherboard MSI K8MM-V (VIA chipset), 1GB RAM DDR1, video card MSI GeForce FX5200 AGP port 128MB, hard disk SATA 160GB Maxtor.
