Bug Description

On ARM64 when using a virtio-net-pcie device, qemu expects to find the efi-virtio.rom in /usr/share/qemu. Several roms are symlinked from /usr/lib/ipxe/qemu/ to /usr/share/qemu but efi-virtio.rom isn't.

I can confirm that this doesn't cover any of the efi images.
But then it is stated as "compat links" as the old images where formerly found at the old location.
I'm not sure maybe the efi images never where at the old place and this is the reasons they got not "compat" link.

Hi Chris,

Yes, I think that is it and the qemu package is built specifying the new location:
DATAPATH = /usr/share/qemu:/usr/share/seabios:/usr/lib/ipxe/qemu

I built a new version from source and didn't override the location which explains the problem.

Thanks,
Ali
