Bug Description
On the ping man page, in the DUPLICATE AND DAMAGED PACKETS section, the text reads...
Ping will report duplicate and damaged packets.
But the text never indicates how ping will report the duplicate or damaged packets. I assume that for duplicate packets it will append the line with "(DUP!)" e.g.
64 bytes from w.x.y.z: icmp_seq=4 ttl=64 time=0.1 ms (DUP!)
But I don't know how a damaged packet is reported.
Thanks.
