ipe unable to render text due to libfreetype mismatch

Binary package hint: ipe

Hi,

On intrepid beta, when text is typed, ipe complains about wrong libfreetype version and refuse to render the text (File->Run Latex).

Recompiling from source solves the problem. Note that ipe version 30 won't compile with gcc version 4.3 so I had to use gcc 4.2.
