2023-11-22 01:44:11 Hongfei Xu description I am using Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, the kernel version is 6.2.0-36-generic. My CPU is Intel® Core™ m3-7Y30. The intel-microcode_3.20230214.0ubuntu0.22.04.1_amd64 works fine on my computer, but the computer cannot boot if I update the package to later versions (3.20230808.0ubuntu0.22.04.1 and 3.20231114.0ubuntu0.22.04.1). There is no output on the screen, it is light but just purely black. In the case the computer fails to boot, I have to boot into the secure mode (the hardware GPU was disabled and CPU graphic driver was used in this case), and fall back the intel-microcode package to version mentioned at the beginning (3.20230214.0ubuntu0.22.04.1).
