Bug Description

I did this in the following order:
-ubuntu 12.4 beta set up
-synaptic set up with 'software-center'
-gnome set up with 'software-center'
-edubuntu-desktop set up using synaptic
-gdm was selected as the default display-manager
When a gnome-session is selected in gdm, the desktop is practically unusable because of the unreadable, muddy system-font, Gnome-classic is halfways OK, so I use this now.
