Bug Description
A new installation guide is planned for the Karmic release (see spec:karmic-
The title used by the existing installation-guide package is "Ubuntu Installation Guide". This is likely to confuse people when the new guide is released, especially if they arrive at the guide via Google. The title of the installation-guide should be changed to reflect its more technical nature.
The new title should encourage technical users to read installation-guide rather than the new, more basic guide. It should discourage non-technical users from reading installation-guide, which is likely to confuse them.
Wouldn't it make more sense to have *one* installation guide, which has the new "friendly" info at the front, and the more technical info at the back, probably as an appendix or set of appendices?
That way. both newcomers and experienced Linux/Unix people who search online for Ubuntu Installation Guide are likely to find the material they seek. Deciding arbitrarily that "newcomers have priority, so the old guide should give up its name" seems unhelpful.
