To reproduce on the installation guide clic k the link on chapter one section 7 on ubuntu insatllation guide click the link for ubuntu license policy it will take you to ubuntu.com/about. IT seems this proablbly moved on the website sometime and then new correct page is http://www.ubuntu.com/about/about-ubuntu/licensing which is where this should point to.

I expected this the liscense agreement to link directly to the licensing page. Instead it linked to the about page with a redirect but would be better if it linked directly to licesnsing. I don't think this can be sru'ed on released media so the redirect on the website might need to be changed as well.

What is the link the guide is trying to go to?

We haven't updated the /about section for a while... perhaps we have a redirect that could be updated?

Best fixed in the guide itself though.

I believe the true fix for this is to update the guide as we want to keep the redirect from /about. In this case it is a valid bug for the installation-guide (Ubuntu) project but invalid on the website.
