Bug Description

The recently added patch for precise 200_hide_insserv_on_ubuntu.patch breaks our precise based Linaro builds using live-build and multistrap.

What happens is when multistrap is completed putting together the initial system the next step is to configure all the package via dpkg --configure -a. A number of the base packages use /sbin/insserv. Since this patch moved that tool out of the path the builds fail.

I appreciate the goals of the patch to remove insserv, however before application of this patch was allowed, use of insserv should have been taken care of in the various packages like module-init-tools etc which make use of it.

Please revert this patch.

I don't see any use of /sbin/insserv in module-init-tools. Could you point specifically to what breaks at the moment in precise?
