The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding inkscape. This problem was most recently seen with package version 0.92.2+68~ubuntu17.04.1, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/6f8be562692c61d2366b57f32a80de7577589e00 contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.

According to the crash tracker, this happened since 0.91 all the way to current PPA builds (with a huge spike for 0.91-7ubuntu2 in ubuntu 16.04, but that's probably only because of the LTS, etc).
