Bug Description

The following procedure leads to a crash:

1) load file ELE.svg (converted by inkscape from a pdf file produced by Autodesk's free DWG file viewer)
2) try to replace the color "ffff7fff" (light yellow) by means of the "replace colour" extension
3) inkscape crashes with message "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now"

"replace colour" functions normally for files created from scratch in inkscape.

Sorry, I could not reproduce this bug with the 13.04 daily build on a live USB key.

It says : " 'Replace color' working, please wait..." but does not crash

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Changed in inkscape (Ubuntu):

In my case svg was also created from pdf.

this is another duplicate of the known regression in Inkscape 0.48.3.1 (which affects all script-based extensions, not just the one to export to OpenSCAD):

Bug #944077 “inkscape crashed with SIGSEGV in Inkscape::Extension::Implementation::Script::effect()”

Raring has a newer version of Inkscape which has this bug fixed (0.48.4).
