Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

Hardware drivers crashes during install of Broadcom STA wireless (These package contains Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driverfor use with Broadcom's BCM4311-, BCM4312-, BCM4321-, andBCM4322-based hardware.) driver on compaq mini 110c netbook with 10.04 netbook remix. Everything worked ok with 9.10.

The log file provided doesn't contains information about the crash. Could you please try to reproduce and attach the file /var/log/apt/term.log to this report. Thanks.

it actualy has nothing to do with broadcom driver specifically. When I
try installing anything same happens with initramfs-tools.
/var/log/apt/term.log has only couple lines with log started and
date/time and log ended and date and time... nothing else :(. I tried
downloading and transferring to different sd/usb flash's and always with
same result. and 9.10 works great on same machine (compaq mini 110c
vz74ea). I attached complete /var/log directory. Hope it helps
