Fails to resume with initramfs-tools_0.26

Bug Description

Since initramfs-tools_0.26, my laptop
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/ThinkpadR50e fails to resume.

Suspend to disk seems to work as expected, the machine turns of after 30-40seks.
But instead of resuming, the system is doing a 'normal' boot, showing usplash
and bringung up gdm.

critical, because this is equal to system crash, imo.

This is fixed for me by initramfs-tools 0.28
