Hello, my guess is your /boot filesystem is out of space. You might be able to free up enough space by running:

sudo apt autoremove

If that doesn't make enough free space, you might want to ask for help on https://askubuntu.com or #ubuntu on https://libera.chat

Thanks

Right, thanks. I figured that out, but the experience here is pretty broken: if I'm out of disk space, I should get a message like "You are out of disk space, try 'sudo apt autoremove'" rather than getting an internal system error and wasting your time here =). Do you know how I could help improve the UX here?
