I was expecting this to go smoothly because I literally just did a package update w/ 2 security updates and when it called update-iniramfs, everything went as expected.
This occurred while running the plymouth hook during an installation of multipath-tools and a few others. Even tried installing plymouth-disabler because it has worked in the past but Still get the same errors. Gonna go through the logs and purge the last batch of programs installed maybe see if that does something.
