Several upgrades have since failed but no reports generated.
I worry that my system is becoming unstable now?
Did update && upgrade from command line which produced the output in attached file:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:

cp: cannot stat '/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSerif.ttf': No such file or directory

This file is part of the ttf-dejavu-core package (on Ubuntu 16.04). Installing that packages should solve the failure:

sudo apt install ttf-dejavu-core
sudo update-initramfs -u
