Bug Description

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/0.125ubuntu4 reliably breaks multipath-tools' autopkgtests on the infrastructure. The instances don't reboot after test setup, thus cause a "tempfail", and are being retried infinitely.

This does not reproduce with QEMU locally, I'll run this manually on the infra and collect some logs.

This is the log from a manual test run, with "nova console-log" at the end. This is a bit curious -- the instance does seem to get an IP via DHCP, but sshing to it says "no route to host". Unfortunately my only "foot into the door" without ssh is console-log, which is read-only.

ooh! that would explain it:

Calculating upgrade...
The following packages will be REMOVED:

The following packages will be upgraded:
  initramfs-tools initramfs-tools-bin initramfs-tools-core

http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/proposed-migration/update_excuses.html#isc-dhcp is fine to land except for the release freeze, and once it does it will test cleanly. In the meantime, I'll run with --all-proposed.
