Bug Description

Binary package hint: indicator-weather

Up to date as of 2011-03-24 16:00 UTC

Indicator crashes on login.

I believe this is because there was no active network connection (wifi or otherwise). But I'll have to retest this.

Restarting after connecting to a wifi network, the indicator does not crash.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Yes, this is not a security issue. I don't know how it got marked as such. Thanks for correcting that.

I can confirm that. Ubuntu 12.04 64bit and 11.11.28-0ubuntu1.3 crashes everyday. Checking on the internet, people are having this problem since a year ago... How come there is no solution yet?
