Don't know, I think I'd exited rhythmbox not long before I saw the popup.

Only because there has only been on report of this bug (I thought this was fixed in the last release) I will leave this until next week.
Maybe It occurred due another issue around playlists which are fixed in this 0.8.4 (released today).
